The live performance is also based on Egon Schiele’s Works exhibited in the Van Gogh museum in Amsterdam in 2005. As I look at Schiele’s work, I have also another feeling that he is fighting the fight for love and desire, with his last breath. But the fight is futile. Suffering, pain and isolation are all around him. His soul cries out, his spirit longs for freedom, but his body lacks the power. In all his self-portraits Schiele looks like a living corpse.

In my performance, Patience, I am experimenting with the separation of body and mind, as I am imprisoned in the shelf. I am trying to get out of her imprisonment, but I cannot change anything.
